Emerson Bualat is a San Francisco-raised, Los Angeles-based artist and costume designer. She designs for film, theater, dance, opera, and other related fields.
She thrives off of engaging with diverse collaborators. The purpose of her art practice is to expand viewers' realm of possibilities, to bring comfort to those in need, enact fear into those in power, and provide representation to the young.
Emerson received her BFA in Experience Design and Production from California Institute of the Arts.
